The timeless way of building
After watching the video, The Nature of Order in Game Narrative, I found various aspects that I would like to go into while creating my level. A big aspect that I would delve into would be the use of Inner Calm. This aspect would be found in the main hallway and top floor. In the main hallway, the area is relatively simple, with pillars making up most of the area as well as a statue in the center of the area, but it still has its own atmosphere. Although simple, this area connects to the various other rooms in the level that are more complex. The top area also uses that aspect as it is also a relatively simple room but it also serves as the ending section of the level. Another aspect that I would like to go into would be in the use of "Good Shapes". With the use of medieval props and architecture, I could create interesting areas. With the aspect of good shape, I could create strong looking areas that help push the atmosphere that I would like. An area that I would like to emphasize would be the basement area which would would be full of dungeon like props and architecture.
